CHAT LOG JUST NOW:

Me: shit. I think I just saw someone get killed.
Me: from the car, on the way home from work.

Friend: WHAT
Me: in front of makati cinema square, this motorcycle passed on the right us followed by a car. they were going really fast. I think they were drag racing. the motorcycle guy didn't have a helmet
Me: I think the bumper of the car touched his back wheel, and then he flipped into the air and started rolling on the street ON HIS BIKE
Me: NO HELMET
Me: when we passed his neck was in a weird position, his eyeballs looked like they were gonna pop out, and he was writhing on the ground with one arm outstretched
Me: legs were broken too
Me: the car behind him sped away and turned towards the skyway
Me: JUST SHIT.
Friend: did you call the emergency people?
Friend: isnt there an emergency hotline?
Me: someone else did.
Me: and a bystander got the plate number of the car
Me: AGH.
Me: the WHOLE scene was just so stupid
Me: from the drag racing to the motorcycle driver without a helmet
Friend: maybe they werent drag racing
Friend: maybe the black car was just following how the moto-guy was weaseling through traffic
Me: both their emergency lights were flashing
Me: but yeah you might be right
Me: it's my second time seeing someone dying, too. saw some guy covered in blood lying on the street after getting shot with a stray bullet on new year's eve before
Me: just hate it

Damn, isn't it in our law that motorcyclists are supposed to wear helmets? Poor guy...
