Your guide is definitely not newbie friendly. It's basically just a what-to-kill guide.
Newbies will have to find out on their own how to do basic things like making mega potions, cooking meat, carving specific monster parts from which monsters, weapon trees, and the like.
But I guess that's what gamefaqs and skiesofcrimson are for.
