Games can be a contributing factor to violence. Yes , kids may not slith each others throats every time,but like what serene said, you'll retain things like that til you get old.
Issues like these is just a wake up call, especially for video game developers who would intentionally cross over the lines of morality just to get some sales. And this isn't banning freedom of expression, this is abusing the freedom of expression if you ask me.
In my opinion, games involving senseless acts of violence are the ones that should get banned. Recently, there was one game that went under fire(i think it was manhunt 2)- it's from the same guys from GTA.
