Great idea by Google. Creating an open-source competitor to the iPhone's and Blackberry's OSs should shake up the market a bit.
Of course being built on that type of platform an Android-equipped phone will launch cheaper. Maybe for about $250 or cheaper (which somehow will end up costing you P20,000-25,000 when it gets here
). I can just imagine a few years ahead, people having their own, homebrew versions of the OS. Perfect!
