wow. do you recall things like stem powered trains they were giant lovomotives that had a fire to heat the watertank that made up 90% of the ocomotive to produce steam that powered the thing to pull more than even moderen trans can pull.
and all that was nothing but "air" moving it.
on the energy weapons, my question was why they were free. i mean the limited ammo could easilly be because of a fuse like thing burning out after so many uses. but then the weapon should have like a price to be used. no mater how much ammo was expended you gotta replace that fuse between battles...
