3D mecha and backgrounds with hand-drawn characters, a bit cliched at this point. Well at least it tied up a lot of loose ends, although some plot elements of the series did get nerfed with the addition of some of the new stuff. A bit of a spoiler but i dare say that Maia Sterling is a way more interesting character than her older sister Dana, who figured heavily in The Masters Saga arc.
