Powered exoskeletons would indeed be cool, as they provide the protection of conventional (or is that unconventional?) armor while keeping the flexibility of the human encased inside. Plus with just the right amount of servos working, strength and speed can totally multiply by a huge factor. Imagine running thrice as fast, jumping twice as high, and being four times as strong.
We'd all end up like these two:
