Apparently, there was a video circulating on the internet some time ago which showed a group of people changing-out the PS3 memory card in their office. They replaced the 20 GB memory of the cheap PS3, and switched it with a store-bought 120 GB memory card.
1. Open PS3.
2. Take old 20 GB memory card out.
3. Put new ??? GB memory card in.
4. Close PS3.
I'll have a look and see if it's cheaper to perform this procedure instead of paying twice the price of a 20 GB PS3 for a 60 GB PS3. If it does indeed cost less and is possible to do with a basic computer kit or home tools, this just might be worth it. After all, why settle for 60 GB when you can have 120 GB or more? Sounds awesome to me.
I don't mean to hype everyone up, but I'm recalling what I've read somewhere before. Anyways, I'll look into it when I get home.
