gigas2 v.s. futen
#5
I tried things out on a pretty low drain frame (S2, UA, SL, Dingo2) along with the standard BGR (Vulture2, G91, Ananda) just to be sure, 'cause I was pretty impressed with the Gigas2's heat insulation.

Verdict for me: Futen.

The extra 500 usage drain in Gigas2's direction means a lot. Even when boost hopping, the energy bar drained pretty fast with it, and didn't really get back up to full again. Note that this was with 5000+ surplus energy (I had some other basic stuff on like RM + Nymphe, RA and Pixie3).

With the Futen, careful boost hopping allowed it to be engaged for the entirety of the matches, and still had the energy bar near full. On top of that, the core and the head were the ones that broke. Dingo2 didn't even go into the yellow against the LGL. Smile)

Energy shortages will get even more pronounced with the addition of OB, even if you have Lotus, even if you don't engage that and the energy shield at the same time (lol who would? XD).

I'm still watching out for possible applications of the Gigas2 though.

So might as well make sure that whatever damage it deflects, whenever it gets deflected, gets deflected well...[/quote:4b88a7ef1b]
Agreed.
