Divide this by your total Normal Cooling (Frame Cooling + Radiator Normal Cooling), and you should get above 50%, although that's borderline and could possibly send you into OPD if you're not careful. Upping the percentage is much better than leaving it to your dodging skills.
*EDIT: Weapon round heat is relative of course. You could compute for the cooling you needed without it, but that's asking for trouble, since they could be packing a 'zook or something, and that would leave you going under 50% if the rounds hit, since you didn't include it in the computation.* [/quote:7cb2f057d2]
OK, it seems I had it the other way around. A thread some dude posted on ACO finally cleared it up for me. While the computation for the AC's calorific value stays mainly the same, you should actually be aiming for getting less than 50%.
Here's what he said about it:

0.5 + your AC will probably overheat
0.48 to 0.5 your AC will come close to overheating
0.43 to 0.48 your AC won't overheat
below 0.43 your AC will heat up to about 40 degrees and go back to its original value.[/quote:7cb2f057d2]
Oops, topic necro.
