ya, the EC optional part is kinda pointless in LR since energy already recovers real quickly. it doesn't really do anything but make you wait like 12% longer if you ever genbust. [/quote:6d56abdeb2]
Even without genbusting, EC makes you wait. Wink

So when OBing, I try as much as possible not to use it and rely on the Lotus' huge redzone instead. That way, like Moonlight said, you can use the sound cue of the generator's beeping as a warning of when to shut off the OB. Then once it's off, wait or boost hop for a while, and the energy gauge's back up again.
