I recently read an article regarding on yahoo how GSP's trainer rub too much vaseline on GSP's shoulders and back. Using too much vaseline during this types of sports are taboo, and I think the Nevada sport's commissioner on attendance was up-and-down on his sit about this. Does anyone read the same article and was there any party sanctioned for this?

Yeah I read that too.

In all likelihood, it did help GSP a bit. But no matter how I look at it, GSP really did just lay the smackdown on Penn.

If ever, it was the dude who did the rubbing who'll get sanctioned.

Nice fight between Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson where the former won in his lightweight debut. Koshnek was unprecedented knock out by a brazilian ju-jitsu champion in his first UFC fight (forgot the name).

Yup, the author pointed out that too regardless of the vaseline issue Penn really did loose the fight. However, he added that GSP is not invincible at all since that article may proved some 'chink in the armor' of GSP.

There was a UFC event a few days ago. I'll just post the summarized results.

Chuck Liddell is done after being KO'd again. That's his 3rd of 4th KO loss in a row.

Anderson Silva's match was zzzzz....

That's about it. Big grin

Don't forget to watch the next one, which features Evans vs Machida and Hughes vs Serra (might be another retirement match)

Video of the 2nd round KO finally up. It'll probably get taken down soon though.

Didn't get to see it until you posted the vid, so I'll just comment on the final minute of the fight. With exception to the ones that caught Evans in the jaw, it looked like there were a lot of wild punches in that last flurry, like he was trying to obfuscate his opponent's vision and break his composure down more than he was trying to hurt him.

I heard the KO was pretty nasty even tho the match itself was fairly slow and methodical. I got tons of txt msgs about it, too. Thanks for the vid. Not quite as nasty as I envisioned but seeing him twitch afterwards was kinda nice.

Lesson to learn: Drink your own pee. It's a source of power. Machida ftw.
