I used Tversity to turn my router into a multimedia server that anyone in my vicinity can connect to, even through wireless if you have the proper access points. It's a free flash program. With it, I can stream mkv and youtube files into the ps3, 360 or PSP video viewer apps.
Rant:
Apple: How the fuck do I turn an mkv into a wmv or vob for streaming? *searches*
(5 hours later)
MKV2VOB!!!
(2 hours later) ... muxing failed.
Apple: Must be a better program in existence.
(3 hours later)
Random forum: Fansubbers mkv files are broken, so they don't convert properly into anything else <3 xoxoxo
Apple (after 10 hours of converting options): AAAAAAAAAGH!!! *Beats up innocent ignorant roommate*
...And then she told me about Tversity!!! So I beat her up -more-

Rant: My asian xb360 sux penguin shit, as most of the time developers release games in US region lock, my 360 gets screwed all the time(Most of the game torrents are in US region). One thing I've been thinking abt recently is to sell my 360 to buy a newer us ver 360..

I tried Tversity just now. It's great, worked like you said. Except it's slow as hell on wireless-B transfer from PC multimedia server -> router -> PS3. It worked great (fast, like x5-10 speed) when I plugged both the laptop and the PS3 into the access point. It's not feasible for my house though.

Got a new job - I'll be working at LWS media tomorrow - they cover the content on CompUSA's website.

Tekken 6 arcade death matches. I can understand how this is an interesting twist to game rules, but it really pisses me off how just two guys will hog one unit for more than an hour in a video arcade that only has ONE MACHINE.
And they act as if it's a given norm - that just because every arcade in Manila allows it, then it's okay. Dumbasses...
I have nothing against death matches per se (Might even try it when I get better), but it really pisses me off when the people doing it are fully aware that their stunt is occupying the only game machine in the area, and still persist. As if they own the fucking machine!
I don't give a rat's as if they're higher tier players, or that they're probably going to royally kick my ass (in-game at least, good luck irl!). The point is this is poor conduct.

Nope, for privacy reasons. I think it would be a nice optional thing for you guys to do though.

Was just a suggestion. And that TL thing wasn't a thread. It's a gallery built into the site.
Hey Rick, at least your neighbor doesn't bother to secure his net.
