De Venecia getting death threats, and GMA stabbing him in the back no matter how much he licked her ass in the past,

Neri being protected by Malacanang,

Lozada's "kidnapping",

The Arroyos doing whatever the hell they want,

Rumored bombing to happen tomorrow...

What say you, RR?

Same old crap, and that's Philippine politics for you LOL

No unified opposition leader = no change.

Lozada's got balls though. I wonder if there's a reason for why he had to grow them.

As they say, onli in da pilipins.
"May those who accept their fate find happiness. May those who defy their fate find glory."

Is this about a satirical play/movie on Philippine politics? It sounds nicely over the top.

Got any links that discuss the show?

Over the top indeed. Philippine politics is literally like watching a soap opera.

LIES! The Philippines has been growing very well in economic terms ever since that lady took office, and there's also nothing on the news.

Besides, the people would never allow for that many politics stink-ups to happen at the same them. If that happened over here, they would all be impeached for childishness and general stupidity. Torch wielding mobs would probably storm their houses with torches, too.

Actually, the US Dollar going weak all of the sudden is also an added factor.

Don't be angry now, but once someone gets a taste of power, it may make them slightly more corrupt than what they were before.

My aunt once worked with the President as her boss, and the only she mentioned about Ma'm Arroyo that I remember is: "She doesn't like being corrected." I just don't remember if it was followed by "Even when she knows she's wrong".

Pero syempre, nobody's perfect and I disagree with having her impeached, because what she does has still good outcomes and effects, added that she has quite nice projects, which has questionably high funding requirements. And from what I've observed, most of the bad things we hear now doesn't directly concern her but her husband and sons (I don't want to use the term 'children').

But all in all, its quite difficult to know who lies and who don't nowadays.

It's all real, baby. Impeachment? Been tried... 3 times already? Failed miserably.

Economic growth? BULLSHIT.

All that economic hoo-ha GMA's been praised for by the international community is limited to paper. The common people, however, feel no such growth. Prices remain the same, or even continue increasing. Wages and salaries aren't increasing either.

As unbelievable as it may seem to you, the Philippines is simply not yet as politically mature a country as the US.

Read up on our current events on Inquirer.net, like I said.
