Let us summarize, since I just posted about subtext on some other thread here.
Mark likes to push hard on himself by having fun off Haywire, and he secretly likes to "eat other foods". I'm guessing he likes ham sandwiches with cherries and peaches, but probably not melons because young plants do not normally produce ripe melons.
How truly disturbing that statement was.
