Just went and saw it earlier today.
It's a solidly OK movie. Not great, but definitely OK. Based on a 1950something novel by Richard Matheson, the film deviates a bit from the details of the storyline but still manages to capture that solitary man in a post-apocalyptic world feel.
The monsters were a bit of a letdown, they don't get too terrifying if you've seen them once. Still, the suspense at certain points in the movie (and how they were sustained) was well done indeed.
Will Smith really acts well in this one. Makes you think of his successful transition from Fresh Prince into full-fledged actor.
Oh yeah, watch this at night, with surround sound. Then you'll get your money's worth.
