AC4 is another attempt in rebooting the story. Parang sa gundam, may UC sila tapos may mga ibat-ibang titles sila na hindi related sa UC.
Ganun din sa Armored core.
1: AC1, ACPP, ACMOA, AC2, AC2AA---------> I consider this the "Original universe" ng Armored core.
2: AC3, AC3SL, ACNX, ACNB, ACLR---------> Alternate universe
3: AC4, -----(to be continued)----------------> Alternate universe

But it is also possible the they are AC3-LR happened in another part of the world...

Plus the appearance of Nineball at the end of ACNB, i think its possible.
But thats not enough to prove that its somewhat connected to the past AC games.
And vixen's parts are just "Bonus parts" by playing the rehash of the older games.
