Indeed it does look weird. I wonder where they engine is in that thing? Wacko
IIRC that car was 4WD in the game. Judging from the chassis, I'd say it was in front in that bulge there.

remember that game center i talked about in the raven location topic?

a year before the game center closed, the owner did threw a christmas party at his place for us regulars and we had a tourney after the tsibugan. i won Php 100 in the gran turismo tourney in the finals match that i will never forget. sure, the prize was just about as much as a kid's daily baon nowadays but the rush you get when you pull off a come-from-behind victory is priceless. it's a moment i will cherish for the rest of my life.

Haha great story wanzer. For me, it's the look on my competitor's face when I pull up from behind him or her that's priceless. Tongue

My cousins and I would bet our cars on the line. Pink slips races. (I know it's possible to actually obtain every car on your own, but we have a certain unwritten agreement not to acquire every car in the game; it keeps everything fresh and the exchange that comes from the betting fun).

...

Oh great. Now I've been encouraged to pick this game up again. I'll need another memory card.

Hihihi. We should start collecting all the cars in the game that we can see on our streets, and only those cars. Tongue

First one to fill their garage full of Honda Civics wins. Smile)

Sounds easy Tongue, seeing as there are around a few dozen Civic variants available in the game. Also, most of the cars in my garage are jap tuners with a few muscles and exotics thrown in the mix.

Question: i've been trying forever to score an AE86 from the used car dealerships for a long time now but the Trueno doesn't seem to show up whenever i boot up the game. I know it exists but is there some sorta trick toget it to appear?

It's Takumi! Tongue

How do you set your suspension settings for the 'optimal drift' on the AE86? I haven't gotten it yet so I can't test anything. Should the front be stiffer? Or the back?

I find the AE86 very fun to drive Roll eyes

anywayz, I decided to make the front spring rate stiffer (I'm using the "original" suspension found on tuner village)... that's my preference since AE86's weight distribution is 53% front and 47% rear.

try different settings... like the front spring being higher than the rear by 2.0 rate. also, when you increase the power, you should also adjust the suspension accordingly (to stabilize the car during drifting since high power engines can affect the car 's balance) Happy

example: (my old "friendly" setting)

AE86 (tuned to 168hp: w/ stage 1 weight reduction; sports muffler, NA tune-up stege 1, port polish, engine balancing, close transmission, sport clutch, sport flywheel; 2-way LSD; tires N2)

suspension - original

spring rate: F=8.0 R=6.0
ride height : F=113 R=130
shock absorbers: F=4 R=4
camber angle: F=2.0 R=1.0
stabilizers: F=4 R=4

*can reach speeds about 187kph

@ZK
Go into photo mode, take a snapshot of your car and try to save the pic. There should be an option for you to save it to a USB flash disk.
