We'd be forced to rethink our entire urban and social structure. It'd give us a chance to redesign our urban development as well. Not to mention that it might actually give us a reason to be compelled to do something for our country.

Don't mind me. LOL [/quote:9cb27d85d1]
Yes, I'm going OT. Sue me.
I do mind, if only because of the simple fact that I TOO THINK LIKE THIS.
No offense to those who live in old Manila, but the history of that place has been overrun with dirt. The buildings are in shambles, the streets are in disarray. Yes, I know such structures like the Metropolitan Theater are halls of culture, but right now they hold no utilitarian value. They aren't even beautifying. The same goes for the old City Hall. I have been in that place when I was filing for a name change (LOOONG story, don't ask), and the inside looks run-down and like it might collapse at any moment, in parts of it anyway.
The problem with many of our cities, with Manila being the zenith, is that stuff is always built on top of other stuff without clearing it out first. As a result, everything is compacted, even the rot and decay.
I have not been to Cebu in a long time, but from what I hear it should be a model in how the government builds cities. Same goes for Davao.
Unfortunately, the question in this, aside from the monetary issues, is where do you put the people. Grah. Overcrowded cities = bad times (speaking of which, I think I should read The Jungle now).
Again, I do not mean to condescending. It's just irritating to see what has become of our capital city, and I know many of you feel the same.
Ranting done.
EDIT: LOL we are so 21 Mr. Torres. XD

I truly agree with Mix and Nix on what they said before...
I should because I live there...
Maybe the shockwave did a little something to their brains...
The Japanese I mean...
Ehehe...
A little A-Bomb test anyone?
Now... Back to the topic...
So yeah, us Filipino's are still far behind the 4thGen, I also agree that Filipino's -well most AC players at least... But not us- suck at designing...
But, being natural brawlers, some of those players weak at designing are -believe it or not- good operators, just find the right AC for them and give them proper training and there we go...
It's more like an effect of playing games with limited possiblities that gave them that characteristic...

not to take away anything from some kai-bound players, but most of them play for only a few matches against just a small number of people. online play is a privelege. it's not something that everyone can acquire. the really sad part is that some fools think that being blessed with this privilege gives them some aura of superiority.
the offline community is bigger.
i say, save your judgements until the AC scene worldwide becomes just as big as any competitive gaming scene (fighting games, fps, rts, etc).

The Japanese are really hard core pilots. They don't play. Then again, they can be as easy as picking off a fly out of your swatter.
If they brag.. just stick their foot in their mouth. I've played a couple in them in the arena while playing Armored Core 4, very skilled but most only use a basic cheap set up like dual laser to kill PAs or Missiles and Kojimas.
Not really anything impressive, just take your time and apply your AC well.

Now that most of you said it, it's true that Japs are fond of using bans. I see at ACO, they were always arguing with that. Yeah on kai, there are some racists there ; discriminant their ways are, most suck.
They like themselves cooked alive with their OB on kai.

But they know what they're doing. And in AC4,even facing banned parts, they still manage to win.I just hope that when this Republic turns to AC4,I just hope they won't banned parts, there are already really really small numbers of parts here, and I just hope that this forum won't ban my Wing cannons

I doubt they'll ban the wings. At some of the other forums I've been to, people make it a statement to murder the people who equip them just to prove they're not broken or anything. They're nice to use, but not ban material. It's pretty easy to see them coming and they limit what you can do because it occupies both your back weapon slots and you can't equip shoulder weapons (well, I guess technically they don't occupy both slots, but you look retarded when you only have one IMO).
Then again, all this is coming from a guy that lurks around forums and doesn't have the opportunity to play online...
