just a little something to pass the time...

foreigners... it's not as gross as it sounds

1. ox tail in peanut sauce and vegetables

2. chopped pork cooked in it's own blood

3. beef cooked in liver sauce

4. pig's snout, ears and brain cooked with pepper, onions and garlic served in a metal plate LOL

5. cow's tongue cooked with garlic and mushrooms

6. stuffed milkfish

7. chocolate flavored rice porridge

8. goat meat half cooked in vinegar

9. taro flavored ice cream

10. asocena "nuff said"

The Pale Horse can't answer most of the dishes listed. Number seven could actually be champorado, but The Pale Horse isn't sure whether if it is pinoy or not. Number six could be bangus.

The Pale Horse cannot answer the remaining dishes, that is all.

Fox got most right

8 is actually kilawing kambing LOL papaitan I think is a different dish. (but it's also goat)

6 is rellenong bangus

3 is calderetang baka

grim got lengua (my favorite) and ube ice cream

jonevangelist got sisig... (can't believe you guys missed this)

Haha, how rightfully worded. I eat this stuff without even thinking about it. I mean I always knew what sisig was made of, but somehow it didn't sink in to me that it really was pig brains and stuff. Tongue

I heard tapang usa tastes good. And so does snake. Yum.

which reminds me... I owe Rick's parents a half kilo of tapang usa.

for a vegan treat... try "karakding" a bicolano disk comparable to "bicol express"

it's mushrooms and "siling labuyo" in gata.

BTW anyone knows where to get "soup number 5" in manila?
