[OLD] Front page is up!

Since every self-respecting site has a front page of some sort nowadays, I decided it was time to have one of our own, instead of having people delve immediately into our forums. This also gives the world a pretty good idea of what we're all about through simple browsing.

Anyway, I've tried out a lot of things, but most of them required web hosting of some sort. Not being a person willing to pay for servers (not yet, anyway), I focused on a blog-thing to serve as our front page, like they do on <a href='http://shoryuken.com' target='_blank'>SRK</a> for example.

<a href='http://www.wordpress.org' target='_blank'>WordPress</a> pretty much gives all that, without being too cluttered like some CMSs.

The URL of the forums is now <a href='http://ravenrepublic-forums.cjb.net' target='_blank'>http://ravenrepublic-forums.cjb.net</a>.
The front page will take its place on <a href='http://ravenrepublic.net' target='_blank'>http://ravenrepublic.net</a>.

Due to the move, some old links won't work anymore, but it's just a simple case of adding -forums to the old URLs. If you guys find any more broken links, please PM me.

That's it for now guys. Hope this new blog-thing works as well as I imagine it to be.

Now the question turns to who (besides me) wants to write stuff for the blog? Writings can be in either Filipino or English, it's no-holds barred out there.

What do we write about? Simple stuff really: AC news and releases, AC toys and figures, AC tourneys around the world, and anything else AC related that's noteworthy. Or something that's connected to our community that deserves to be read by everyone else all over. Maybe even random stuff so random it gets the front page.
