it's either the kid only plays the ai, or his "human" opponent is too stupid to get himself hit by a blade from a relatively slow ac.

speaking of human opponents, i did have them during my AC3/SL days, until those bastards sold their souls to these crappy korean mmorpgs. i felt kinda betrayed since i got them into ac and taught them everything that i know.

I mean no disrespect but I really don't like what you're doing. I just ignored the incident that you started in Gamefaqs (and ACO?) but I'm no longer letting this one pass.

With the way you diss every new/inexperienced/misinformed AC player you find, it's no wonder there are so few people playing Armored Core. There are better methods for correcting or teaching other people.

So what if they're using your so-called "lamer" parts? It's not their fault that those parts are too good. That's FROM's fault. AC players don't owe it to anyone to choose parts that are more uncommon, or less broken. It's not their fault that there's another design out there that's similar to what they made. AC isn't limitless after all. More experienced players try to avoid commonly used parts, but that's a personal decision. Not everyone has to do that. Your "lamer" parts are usually only restricted in tourney settings anyway and these people you're dissing aren't even likely to win or join any tourneys. What's wrong if a person can only fight against the AI? It's not that persons fault that no one else plays AC. With that, how will they ever get to a higher level if, from the very beginning, they get discouraged because of people like you?

I don't want to start any flame wars because for the most part, I respect you and your apparent knowledge with AC. But how you seem to take pride in making other players feel bad is something that disgusts me. I suggest rethinking your demeanor. To think you're older than me.

You're still in the safezone, and not on that level of what happened the last time with Guppy. I suggest making friends rather than making enemies: encourage the kid to become better at designing, tell him NICELY about the reasons why some parts are banned in tournament play and why other parts are just really bad. Don't get discouraged just because you think he has set his AC in stone, it just takes a little convincing on your part to change his mind and don't forget to do it nicely.

Even if the internet is a land of flame wars and such, its much much better to cooperate with each other. As much as I agree with your goals and there is nothing wrong with being critical with another person's design, I do not agree with the methods you use which others see as borderline insults. Its still not too late, you can still be a Jedi and not turn to the dark side! :wink:

Granted, the topic poster was getting a bit annoying with the way he treated suggestions (and in fact I'm backstabbing him right now by saying that lolz), so that's probably why you said what you did.

i tried the sp and since it shoots less bullets per shot they do the same damage about
g91 has never been a good gen for me just not enough output, and the OB problems were from me boosting while the OB was charging (shame on me) but now i dont do that so theres not really any problems
me using INFERNO for a while has made it extremly easy to pilot other acs, i hardly have to even think while fighting...thanks INFERNO!!!

strike three. i think i'm dealing with a special child here. and he has poor command of the english language too. there's one similar case at the gfaqs tekken board.
