I played the demo... and yes, it is awesome

While I'm very impressed with the demo (yeah I just donwloaded it now), I don't think I'll be getting this nor Resistance 2. I'm getting Modern Warfare 2 instead.

Does anyone have any info that might change this decision?

Read up on MAG or Massive Action Game for the PS3. It might interest you for its "256 players on the same battlefield" concept as well as its modern day setting.
