Have you guys seen this?

It's one of many conspiracy-theory documentaries. Really well-pieced together though.

I think you can still get it through torrents.

It's basically a movie that tells you how the Bible is merely a plagiarized work, how Jesus may not have even existed, how the entire attack on 9/11 as well as many other turning points in history were merely staged in order to push for certain political agendas, and how world banking is literally controlling the world.

Basically it's a movie that tells you that everything as you know it is an utter lie.

Mmm... conspiracy theories. Right up Raffy's alley, I'd imagine.

But this one's really well-pieced together. It's around 2 hours, but well worth your time.

Despite everything, lies are still lies, shit is still shit, and wastes of time remain to be just that.

Look out the window, it's a real world out there and the real facts are already being distorted everyday by media spin doctors.

I'll go back to worshiping Xenu in my bathroom now, thanks.

I've just watched the first part. Definitely interesting, although there's a lot of stuff that I've heard of before.

It makes sense that Christianity would adopt a lot from the religions that preceded it, because it's the way of people. We adopt previous beliefs and add tweaks to make them our own. And I'm not one to say that pagan religions are necessarily bad or evil anyway, because I know that they've been around LONG before the historical birth of Christ, and many of the events of Jesus' life were sourced from them.

Also, the bible is often misinterpreted or said to be a mistranslation so I won't go into that.

I don't necessarily agree with him labeling Christianity as the fraud of the ages though. Not in the present day, at least. Maybe a few centuries ago when they were forcing it in the wrong ways. But now people (and the Church) are more open-minded, so to me, as long as you understand what your beliefs are and moderate them throughout your life, it's all good.

Finally, it never ceases to amaze me that even though it's been talked about to death, religion is still something explosive to discuss.

Part 1 was actually pretty tame. It's parts 2 and 3 that are pretty disgusting.

Someone ought to do a film like this but instead tackles the state of the Philippines. I'm sure it'll look just as disgusting.
