"What the movies should have been like....." XD
well to give you idea why the art direction for War For Cybertron and Fall For Cybertron is very different from the Micheal Bay's Transformers and the games based on Micheal Bay's Transformer One MAJOR DIFFERENCE which gave High Moon Studios such design freedom....ohohohoho just thinking about it makes my hand ich and rev up my imagination Micheal Bay's Tranformer's were based on the Transformers when they came to Earth High Moon took it to a total U-Turn in the development phase and said pretty much this... "WHY NOT MAKE THE STORY ARC BEFORE TO CAME TO EARTH? WHAT WERE THE TRANSFORMERS LIKE? WHAT WAS CYBERTRON LIKE?" Which is more or less a very drastic move...which means you have to build stuff some scratch...well more or less but in the end you got a awesome game (War For Cybertro ![]()

except that they have at least some reference from the original transformers cartoon.
i think the success of the game comes from its gameplay design and also adding a lot of old school character designs and aesthetics.
