- NiX - 06-10-2007 What add-ons, skins, etc. are you using for your browsers? I'll enumerate mine maybe later. - Grim - 06-10-2007 I like to keep mine nice and simple. Browser: Mozilla Firefox 2 Skin: BlackJapan 2.0 Add-ons: ColorZilla Extension del.icio.us Extension VideoDownloader Extension (although I barely use this one now.) - NiX - 06-10-2007 Here's a list of Firefox 2.0 extensions that I've found to be REALLY useful: No Script - makes firefox several times safer. It gives you the option to block Javascript, Java, flash, and other plug-ins from automatically running on websites that aren't approved. A bit annoying actually... but better safe than sorry. Mouse Gestures - totally cool. You can run Firefox commands (such as new tab, page forward, page back, refresh, etc.) by setting (customizable!) distinct mouse strokes our key combinations. Tweak Network - Allows you to tweak your network settings (duh) a bit more than default firefox will allow, opening the possibility of making it run a bit faster. DownThemAll! - A download manager built into firefox! Download Statusbar - Annoyed by the firefox download box that opens in a separate window? This one integrates the download box into the same firefox window you're currently using. Adblock Plus - reliable pop-up blocker. IE Tab - Totally useful for opening pages that don't work so well on firefox. This add-on allows you to open Internet Explorer AS A FIREFOX TAB. Oh and as for my browser skin, I'm using Noia 2.0 eXtreme. - Grim - 06-10-2007
QUOTE (NiX @ June 10, 2007 02:32 pm)

IE Tab - Totally useful for opening pages that don't work so well on firefox. This add-on allows you to open Internet Explorer AS A FIREFOX TAB. [/quote:7c895abea4] Sweet! Until Microsoft comes to its senses and starts shipping its Windows boxes with Firefox instead of IE, this will be a very useful tool for me. - strawhat_luffy - 06-11-2007 Linkification Foxytunes Forecastfox Cooliris Previews Download Statusbar Fasterfox and GameFox, of course along with the Vista Black theme. RE: Internet Browser Add-Ons - Grim - 01-07-2008 Rick and I finally found out how those 4chan peepz take those nice long screenshots of threads. Screengrab! - Now we can take pictures of our legendary posts as well! Yey! Sample: I See A Pedo RE: Internet Browser Add-Ons - Sforza - 02-25-2010 Just found out about a really fun firefox extension called FireNES. It basically allows you access to most any NES game you can think of from a browser sidebar. The games are run on a java emulator, and hosted on a site (requires internet connection). They're tiny though. It's my favorite extension already RE: Internet Browser Add-Ons - Lord_Leperman - 02-26-2010 Man oh man, I've been playing Contra again thanks to that |
