EDIT: Though this game looks a lot like RF online. Except that this game is actually an action-based MMORPG game. I saw another gameplay footage and the gameplay is kinda Front Mission Onlineish - wanzerfreak - 04-11-2007 the mechs are too fancy wancy for my taste. it's like Teh Matwix with mechs. - Goat - 04-11-2007 They look more than bio-weapons to me. LOL Imagine a Zenith dodging bullets in slowmo. - clonezero - 04-13-2007 dang its nice ... gotta wonder how its gonna fare in the philippines RE: Exteel (PC) - Sforza - 12-17-2007 Released December 4, 2007. Free to play. I'm too busy to try though. Anyone care to test it out for all of us? System Requirements: 800 MHz CPU 256 MB RAM 1 GB available hard disk space Windows 2000 or XP. http://www.exteel.com/us/ http://eu.exteel.com/eu/ RE: Exteel (PC) - Grim - 12-17-2007 Way too busy making my own games. Seriously. I second Jake's request: someone yay or nay it, quick! RE: Exteel (PC) - Goat - 12-18-2007 It's back to open beta again? RE: Exteel (PC) - Sforza - 12-18-2007 Goatling Wrote:It's back to open beta again? No, it's officially released. It says free to play. RE: Exteel (PC) - Goat - 12-18-2007 Ok. I'm currently downloading it. Stupid coincidence that my internet downloads pretty slow today. RE: Exteel (PC) - Goat - 12-19-2007 I played it until 3am. It's actually a combination of Virtual On and Gunz. It's a TPS game where you... uh shoot. The game menu is actually similar to those make-a-room-to-play types (Gunbound, WarRock, Raycrash, etc). You make rooms and then customize the rules and play solo or wait for other players to join you. I'll post some later, gotta go. RE: Exteel (PC) - Sforza - 12-19-2007 Yay thanks for trying it out The internet thanks you. Please let us know if you would recommend it for us to try out according to level of busy-ness. For example, - drop everything you're doing and play it NOW - play this game before you play any other game! - play Armored Core/Virtual On instead - play if you want to try something new - play only if you're locked in solitary confinement and not allowed to read books or have any access to the outside world at all RE: Exteel (PC) - Black Dragon - 12-19-2007 Hehe, I 've heard of this game, but free to play!? Didn't hear that one, I'll try DL'ing that one, the trailer looks awesome too. This kinda reminds me of Gunz RE: Exteel (PC) - Goat - 12-19-2007 @ Jake: - play if you want to try something new Some AC elements are also present in there, like buying parts, weapons, etc from the shop, and the aiming system (most of the weapons) is ACish. The aiming system has the LOCKBOX. You aim it then shoot when he/she's in the lockbox. You could also upgrade your stats after you level up, can't remember everything, but upgrading one of your stats (marksman) will widen up your lockbox. There's something I hate here though, whenever you buy parts, and weapons, they have that "durability" stat, which will reduce gradually, making the part unuseable when it completely depletes unless you buy some repair kits. Skills last for 30 days, then you'll have to buy another one again. EDIT: I'll tell you the game types here. Deathmatch: Kill as many as you can and get the highest score until time runs out. Killing high-level opponents means higher score. Your points get deducted depending on the level of the enemy who killed you. Team Deathmatch: Team deathmatch, lol. Territory War: Same as Battlefield II's territory control, more like a control the beacon Last Man Standing: More like a farming method for Exteel players, all players are your friends and you guys defend your "beacons" against weak drones. When one of your beacons have been captured, you and your teammates LOSE. Defend it for like 10 mins, you and your teammates WIN. ---------------------------------------------- @ BD: Yep, this one's out of the testing phase. Now it's F2P. |
