What do you think? - Lord_Leperman - 03-11-2007 I liked the way you paired up the RL with the DRAGON. It makes for a nice hand combo with a good mix of shell and EN damage, though I believe there are better left arm weapon choices, its nice to see the DRAGON on a design. Overall an unconventional design using lesser used parts, except for the RL perhaps . Though stable, the radiator isn't really my type as it is prone to overheating. I understand perhaps the usage of the LINDEN as an alternative to the hugely popular ANANDA, however it does not suit the design's needs for a high cooling radiator, especialy because its an OB AC. If you want a close alternative (while still remaing unconventional), the HAZEL2 might fulfill your needs. Other alternatives: If you want something more accurate for your left arm, you might be interested in the ARGOS pulse rifle. Despite the lower ammo count, each shot is about 100 points faster acording to LR's shot velocity chart, and the damage per shot is almost the same, plus it fires a bit faster as well. If you're going for raw power, then the ROC4 is also a good alternative. (Note: both suggestions will adversely affect your lockbox, as their special lock makes them a little more difficult to use compared to the DRAGON) One last thing: In terms of performance, I don't see the point of the DRYAD when you have the 69M starter missile pack. The later has more ammo for less weight and drain (though the DRYAD fires a tad bit faster because of its slightly quicker reload rate). However, if its for looks the DRYAD wins hands down compared to the 69M - Serene - 03-12-2007 I may try the Argos... As to what I remember, It's also lighter than the Dragon It's ok for me to heat up... I only use the OB for short bursts whenever I'm using my Dryads and V2's Kinnara + RM3... As for Dryad vs 69M, Dryad always gets my vote... It feels like it feels a little faster than 69M, missile wise... I have nothing against Ananda... It's just that, I'm tired of seeing that rad... It's like... inside every AC I see in LR designs... Anyways, EX is still in test stage, so there's still room for improvement... I'll try these out next time I play... - Grim - 03-12-2007 This build becomes muddled with the addition of OB. Choose one of the two: keeping the energy weapon or the OB core. You'll need to give one up because the Dragon indeed takes out a lot of energy. Lotus can only handle so much. I suggest you keep the Dragon, put on a standard core, and pack on a Gull instead of the Birdie2. Of course, that'd mean changing the radiator as well. You'll have more defense and go faster too. Otherwise, a good concept. - Serene - 03-13-2007 What can you say about Mist2? - Lord_Leperman - 03-13-2007 Not good IMO, its a HG with a special lock. - Serene - 03-13-2007 I forgot the name... How about that revolver? Attack's good, easy drop, allows early release of Elf2... Hm... - Grim - 03-13-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-Serene+March 16, 2007 07:31 am--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Serene @ March 16, 2007 07:31 am)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> I forgot the name... EDIT: Even Revolver Ocelot says so. Haha! "Use the HP or I'll use it on you! Rarr! I am a badass Russkie! Rarr!" - Lord_Leperman - 03-13-2007 The HP? Quite possibly the most awesome left arm gun. Its the most accurate and damaging of all HGs as well. - Serene - 03-13-2007 I think another 69H isn't that worth it... It has too much ammo and not much attack... But good for solo use because of that... Hmm... I'll use HP then... It's also my first time to put it in a design so... Good experience! I'd rather stick with this OB core... Like what I used to say, changing its chassis makes it a different AC... That's why this one's got an EX in its name... - Goat - 03-13-2007 Dual 69Hs hurt a lot, you probably just don't feel the pain like I do 'til I fought my uncle using his dual 69Hs before. - Serene - 03-13-2007 I know much it hurts man... Hellhound's used it on me already... It's just that, I need something more diposable. - wanzerfreak - 03-13-2007 mist2 = lefty ghost2 - Serene - 03-15-2007 Tried the HP on the design... Yum. Aleh... Parang nataktak lang ng kalawang... The damage is really good, accuracy's great... I never thought it would be good on this... I think I managed to strip off an additional 2k-3k of AP before I have to eject it off... Thanks for the tips... You'll be seeing this one again... |
