For this AC, well lets just say...there is no strategy. Seriously. Either, if the opponent rushes you, backpedal. If they stay behind, rush them. Thats about the only strategy this AC is good for.

Do you have an RA back radar for this?
And... please just use the G91 instead of the ORCHID.
You'll rid yourself a whole lot of weight... and then you can put on other weapons.

I did go to G91, but it ran a little hot. That's why I switched back to ORCHID.
and why would this thing need extra weapons? The thing has enough kill power for two ACs. I do see your reasoning though.

Downgrade the Orchid to the G91 and then you can switch the weight tunes for cooling tunes to keep the AC cool. Seeing that you arent using OB, the tunes to cooling should this AC cool enough to its job, plus the Orchid is crap
.That gives less weight, more speed, and you can now add a back radar. you can also go with Urchins for when you plan to rush.

Try Crimson's suggetsion...
Orchid's too heavy...
Definitely change to G91...
That way, all the weight tunes you used to compensate for Orchid's weight, will be useless and available for switching to 100% cooling -or in my preference 0-4-3-3-0 tunes-...

okay, heres the revised version of Abel. I changed S4 to Mayfly for Radar, and Birdie2 for extra acceleration. You can add extra weapons on the back, though I prefer to keep it like it is. no use for em when you can kill a lot already.

Why the Mayfly? The original S4 + RA combination is so much better.
I think F69 should be put beside Cowry and Limpet as a possible FCS choice for pure rushers.

Why Mayfly? I don't know...It was in the first big overhaul this AC had gotten, and I kept it until someone said to use the S4. I guess I'm just a big speed whore
