ever heard of these two games?

I've searched long for ring of red for the ps2, and actually found a copy in greenhills. The part that sux is that now that I've found it, I narly have time to play
..I've been hearing good things of this in magazines, and refered to it as a rare polished gem(as few copies were produced), that eventualy drove me to search for this(plus it's a mech strategy game[ala front mission])..

out of the two, RoR is probably my favorite.
Velvet file is almost like front mission, cept much much more hardcore. there's only 11 campaign missions.
