PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - NiX - 05-11-2012

Anybody want to start stepping into this minefield?

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - AEA1 - 05-11-2012

Ban OP-I
Roll eyes

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - R.Leonhardt - 05-11-2012

Ban putuo, strekoza, zinnia, gats, every other thing there is except that Vengeance frame and handguns. Everyone should have the same setup so we can determine which of us has better skills (--, )

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - NiX - 05-11-2012

^If we did that, we might as well fight with the junk AC builds. LOL

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - Zefyr - 05-11-2012

... Why not XD?

Or at least, replace the junk parts with their immediate fixed part. I have those saved in my AC data just in case, lol

Who knows? Maybe that could be the only way to have varying designs in the tourney.

For a tournament, I'd prefer to see fixed parts (the ones you can buy online) as well to level out discrepancies in weapon growths.

Unleveled weapons? I think that's good. We can even not have weapon bans because of this.

Also, I know I don't play ACV and all, but I think I can at least provide help here in the theoretical level.

If we go running around with the vengeance setup, we'd probably run around using the most of the pulse machine gun and it will probably rip both of you apart.. lol

I think recon will play a big factor when it comes to 1v1. Using that high range tracking type would have everyone standing there waiting for someone to move. Maybe we should ban that one as well to keep things interesting?

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - NiX - 05-11-2012

Ban all recons!

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - Zefyr - 05-11-2012

Back in the day we didn't have recons. VISUAL ACQUISITION OR RADAR BLIPS ONLY!!!!!! And since there're no radars, guess we're going to be playing hide-seek-and-explode.

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - Sirius140 - 05-12-2012

No cookie cutter builds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But there will be G-Blade and M-Blade jousting with an in-game audience.

RE: PACT Regulations - ACV 1.01 - clonezero - 05-12-2012

I propose we have a no weapon tourney

INAZUMA KIIIIIIICCK~~!!!

Anybody want to start discussing this more seriously?

Mechaverse has this ban list they're discussing: http://mechaverse.co/forums/index.php?/topic/1581-mv-acv-ban-list-version-1/

It started off really nicely, but I'm not liking the direction it's taking.

Anyway, one thing I'm sure about is that if RR hosts an ACV tournament, we'll only allow non-performance or "repaired" weapons. These are the ones that you can buy offline. This eliminates the variable of random stat growths.
