- Lord_Leperman - 11-07-2006 From AC1, PP, MOA, AC2, AA, AC3, SL, NX, NB, or LR In this topic is the collection of AC that you think is the best you have EVER created. Or in other words, the AC you wish that could have been ported over to the latest AC game without any changes at all. I'll start with my SL favorite, which is an ultra-heavy I called Rainmetal ("Englished" pronounced Rhinemetal?) HEAD CHD-MISTEYE CORE MCH-MX/GROA ARMS MAH-SS/CASK LEGS CLH-04-SOD BOOSTER MBT-NI/GULL FCS PLS-SRA02 GENERATOR CGP-ROZ RADIATOR RMR-ICICLE INSIDE MWI-DD/20 Decoy Dispenser EXTENSION MWEM-R/36 Relation Missile BACK UNIT R MWX-VM40/1 BACK UNIT L MWX-VM40/1 ARM UNIT R CWG-RF-160 ARM UNIT L MWG-SRFL/70 OP-S-SCR, OP-E/SCR, OP-ECMP, OP-L-AXL, OP-L/TRN, OP-CLPU, I'd say this would be my best AC ever where I'd feel comfortable using it in ANY given AC game provided that it retains its SL physics, characteristics, and its given stats. Its got armor that only an ultra heavy can achieve with almost 70K shell damage soak, and a deadly missile/relation combination. Nix would probably mention his Osiris from SL? Correct me if I am wrong I made this topic in the interest of looking at where others became really good, and I might be able to learn some lessons from the older generation of AC games. EDIT: Halimaw would have to be here as well since it won me fy first tourney - maitreya - 11-07-2006 AC NAME: Obelisk HEAD MHD-MX/BEE CORE MCH-MX/GRP ARMS MAH-SS/CASK LEGS MLH-SS/RS BOOSTER CBT-FLEET FCS PLS-SRA02 GENERATOR CGP-ROZ RADIATOR RIX-CR14 INSIDE - EXTENSION CSS-IA-64S Side Shield (Soild) BACK UNIT R MM-AD/20 BACK UNIT L CWM-HA40-8 ARM UNIT R MWG-MG/800 ARM UNIT L KSS-SS/863B OP-S-SCR, OP-E/SCR, OP-E/CND, OP-E/RTE, Paint scheme is light blue of some sort. Can't describe it well. GOMAP design. I fought Rick with this AC the first time we met. And, this is the sparing partner of Nix's Osiris. - Grim - 11-07-2006 I'd mention my MoA Buko Joe. Need time to rebuild a file and remember all the parts. XD - AEA1 - 11-07-2006 silent line HEAD 004 CORE neer ARMS eas LEGS order BOOSTER mare FCS ws3 GENERATOR CGP-ROZ RADIATOR sa44 INSIDE -- EXTENSION crow BACK UNIT R -- BACK UNIT L -- ARM UNIT R XCG20 ARM UNIT L 2551 both screens, and energy weapon boosters my stealth AC my ultimate beatdown... turn on the crow, go in close... shoot XCG20 3x... withdraw... repeat. kills most AC's on the 3rd-4th crow charge the glory days of the stealth raven - NiX - 11-07-2006 Well... the SL Osiris was probably the most comfortable AC for me ever. However, now that I see AC from a wider perspective, and probably because I am more mature in terms of Armored Core, I have considered revising that design. But yeah that was definitely my fave. EDIT: Adrian, that AC of yours is hauntingly similar to my Grimzone AC from SL that also had XCG/20 and CROW. Nice. RE: - Black_Flame - 02-14-2008 theGrim Wrote:I'd mention my MoA Buko Joe. It was fun playing with him. RE: Signature ACs - NiX - 02-14-2008 the ORDER legs are actually the same as the DINGO. =P RE: Signature ACs - HayWire - 02-14-2008 HW-257 is still my fave AC RE: Signature ACs - clonezero - 02-14-2008 so far only Ain Soph Aur and Boris are worthy to be called my sig AC but I still haven't decided as to which of them is better ... RE: Signature ACs - Black Dragon - 02-14-2008 Mad Lucied Actually there are other Sig ACs, but man, my PS2's kinda broken right now and my PS1 is dead RE: Signature ACs - AEA1 - 02-14-2008 whoa... necro post... nice to find my old SL AC here... anyway, people evolve... here's my pride and joy now. used him in both pact 1 and 2. didn't win though, it's more of a pilot limitation than a design flaw. my ultimate two faced AC from last raven Name: Itak EYE3 - 50 solid defense, 50 energy defense UL2 - 50 solid defense, 50 energy defense A72F - 50 weight, 50 energy defense cougar2 - 100 max leg weight Internal and motive parts GULL - 100 booster heat MONJU G91 - 100 energy output ANANDA - 100 cooling Weapons RM3 NYMPHE MV2 RS KRSW 69H 69H Optionals AMINO ES SS 79L+ GOLGI HISTON PHAGE RIBOSE mode 1 left hand style Rusher Left hand Ksaw + Right 69H + Nymphe + RM3 + (hangared left 69H) mode 2 tactical sniper RS sniper + MV2 + RM3 + elf3 + hangered (right 69H) RE: Signature ACs - Fox - 02-16-2008 Among my designs, i could possibly name the Nephilim (formerly Omega) and the Auriga as my sigs, although the former is more for missions and the latter does better in PVP. The Auriga is the second reincarnation of Accendare and is the dual-GAST AC i cooked up for PACT II last year. Armoring parts DRONE U4 MACAQUE HF Internals G84P/G91 (depends) ANANDA F73H VULTURE2 Weapons GAST GAST SATYROS RM3 69H SYLPH More of a rusher, i just love it when i get the two GASTs to fire in sync, despite its relative innacuracy. Speed's a bit on the slow side but everything else is perfectly fine with me. With a chassis like this, its weaknesses are obvious, but makes up for it with the raw power the weapons give out in battle. The design is intended for tank breaking, as most tanks are very weak against energy weapons, making it a good Battle City Mode AC. RE: Signature ACs - Grim - 02-18-2008 Serene Wrote:AC Name: ObsidianRockTo be honest, I was very skeptical on how this could work when I saw it on paper. But when I really saw it in action, I realized just how fatal it can be. All it takes is a few mistakes on the part of your opponent and he's basically done, because he'll either fall too far behind to catch up on time, run out of ammo trying to catch up to your AP, or be blown up. I saw how you pilot this though, and I think you would greatly gain from practicing your aiming, as well as moving while firing. |
