From AC1, PP, MOA, AC2, AA, AC3, SL, NX, NB, or LR

In this topic is the collection of AC that you think is the best you have EVER created. Or in other words, the AC you wish that could have been ported over to the latest AC game without any changes at all.

I'll start with my SL favorite, which is an ultra-heavy I called Rainmetal ("Englished" pronounced Rhinemetal?)

I'd say this would be my best AC ever where I'd feel comfortable using it in ANY given AC game provided that it retains its SL physics, characteristics, and its given stats. Its got armor that only an ultra heavy can achieve with almost 70K shell damage soak, and a deadly missile/relation combination.

Nix would probably mention his Osiris from SL? Correct me if I am wrong Big grin

I made this topic in the interest of looking at where others became really good, and I might be able to learn some lessons from the older generation of AC games.

Well... the SL Osiris was probably the most comfortable AC for me ever. However, now that I see AC from a wider perspective, and probably because I am more mature in terms of Armored Core, I have considered revising that design. Tongue But yeah that was definitely my fave.

EDIT: Adrian, that AC of yours is hauntingly similar to my Grimzone AC from SL that also had XCG/20 and CROW. Nice.

I had a design just like this, but the legs where Dingo, with either twin rifles or machine gun and rifle. It was fun playing with him.

nice to find my old SL AC here... anyway, people evolve... here's my pride and joy now.

used him in both pact 1 and 2. didn't win though, it's more of a pilot limitation than a design flaw.

Among my designs, i could possibly name the Nephilim (formerly Omega) and the Auriga as my sigs, although the former is more for missions and the latter does better in PVP. The Auriga is the second reincarnation of Accendare and is the dual-GAST AC i cooked up for PACT II last year.

More of a rusher, i just love it when i get the two GASTs to fire in sync, despite its relative innacuracy. Speed's a bit on the slow side but everything else is perfectly fine with me.

The slow moving avatar of toughness.
With a chassis like this, its weaknesses are obvious, but makes up for it with the raw power the weapons give out in battle.
The design is intended for tank breaking, as most tanks are very weak against energy weapons, making it a good Battle City Mode AC.

To be honest, I was very skeptical on how this could work when I saw it on paper. But when I really saw it in action, I realized just how fatal it can be. All it takes is a few mistakes on the part of your opponent and he's basically done, because he'll either fall too far behind to catch up on time, run out of ammo trying to catch up to your AP, or be blown up.

I saw how you pilot this though, and I think you would greatly gain from practicing your aiming, as well as moving while firing.
