No to Mining in Palawan - HayWire - 07-19-2011
Not that mining is bad or anything... But Palawan isn't exactly the best choice for nickel(and other stuff) mining...
They produce a large amount of our rice for the country plus it's a tourist attraction. And a lot of new species are discovered there every year...

Random did you know: More than 10% of the national GDP goes to corruption. Mining actually isn't needed if corruption can be stopped.
