This review says that the Samsung SBH500 performs better for music at half the price. But, as with every online review, take it with a grain of salt.

Audio-Technica SJ1 is on sale for just 999 on a certain deal-a-day site. Worth it?
I haven't had the cables on my old headphones replaced yet, and it can cost just as much.
Deal expires in two days.

I wouldn't pay 500 pesos for it. CD-R King has better headphones.

it sounds THAT bad?Currently in the process of burning in the K618. Now my ears hurt from the tight fit - I decided to leave it on a box just about as wide as my head overnight.

I sold mine after 3 days because they sounded so tinny. Bad buy. Do not repeat.
