It was grim day for the alliance of heroic pilots as they get hammered under the trap sprung upon them all seemed lost, yet out of nowhere a faint glint appears on the horizon followed by a large blue bolt that cuts a path through the swarm of enemy mechs.

Maybe AC don't have enough "heroic" characters to make it to the game. And the pilots are just a bunch of faceless characters, except the ones found in TCB and Fort Tower Song like sparrow, but there's no clear description on what her AC really looks like.
