Alright, I'm finally back on-line. The others should be in a while too. For those of you who don't know, Metro Manila and the area of Luzon was hit by a huge (and I mean HUEG) storm with winds reaching up to 130 kph. Pretty heavy. All of that area was plunged into a blackout the whole night. Many billboards and electric posts were torn down. Many trees were uprooted also. I was driving at my school the Friday morning after the typhoon and it looked like a battlefield, for real.

All you guys (living in the country) OK?

- AEA1 - 09-30-2006

you should see how the ER looked... very bad

Tsktsktsk... kawawa naman yung mga tao...

I heard on the radio of how this wall collapsed on a 10 month-old baby... and how some people in the Montalban area were bitten by snakes that came out from the Cordillera mountain ranges...

Let's pray for these people, guys.

I'm in a freaking net cafe... my house still does not have power.. There's a couple of power poles that fell down in my village.

Arrrgh... I can't finish my schoolwork!!! And its finals week!!!!

Luckily for me, i had to head to ilocos again last tuesday. I barely missed the storm although the roads were already flooded in Pampanga. Its still raining here although there are no winds, just big ol' fat rain.

Hope you guys back in the metro are alright.

I had to walk home from work, to find the devestation that leveled most of my path. The surounding looked like an alien attack(with derbis and people suffering here and there)..
I hope nobody from RR got hurt  .

I can't make my project because of the storm...
It took a whole day and 5 hours of long wait until had electricity...
And guess what? The deadline's today! Puchit~

- Juno - 10-01-2006

It's so pathetic... nakikigamit lang tuloy ako ngayon.

- Lord_Leperman - 10-02-2006

Yeah, its tough for some people. Meralco (a local power distributor) said they can't be sure of when electricity will be back for all residents in the metro, they aren't giving exact dates as well, although I do know they were working round the clock to restore power.

The past few days have taught me something: I'll have to consider electricity as a basic human right!

Ha?

I think I heard from the news that it may take 3 weeks to get everything back on line...
Malacanang is still pretty -lightbulb- dead I think...
Wala pa daw kuryente yata dun eh...

Hehe... Buti pa sa min meron na...

For those who still have no electricity...
This is all I have to say...
"Wag kayo magalala, iba nga dyan walang makain eh..."
