Pepsi To Cease Advertising - by The Onion - NiX - 09-30-2009 http://www.theonion.com/content/news/pepsi_to_cease_advertising?utm_source=a-section Just another little something to lighten the mood since I really enjoyed the article linked above. Pepsi just announced that they're totally stopping all advertising efforts from this point forward. They'll be using the budget for charities, etc. instead. From now on, they'll only rely on word-of-mouth. This shows genuine confidence in their product. Pretty cool. Will be even cooler to watch how things will turn out between them and Coke in terms of market share. I personally have no real preference between Coke and Pepsi. This probably only applies to Pepsi US though. RE: Pepsi To Cease Advertising - Penguin Deus - 09-30-2009 Hahaha, The Onion articles are the best. My favorite is still the "human head found in hamburger" one. I also like the Kanye dig in the second pic. RE: Pepsi To Cease Advertising - Grim - 09-30-2009 I'm confused if you know this is a joke or not. Great job, that's really hard to pull off hahaha RE: Pepsi To Cease Advertising - Penguin Deus - 09-30-2009 I just assumed he didn't realize it was a joke and tried to be discreet in pointing out that it was! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDWo6m5hbG4 Another great Onion report. RE: Pepsi To Cease Advertising - NiX - 09-30-2009 Hahah wasn't aware of the nature of the onion (then again, with a name like that...). I just quickly linked after skimming through digg.com. Nix fail then.
