Invisionfree Skinning - Crimson - 11-29-2007 I was wonder how you skin a forum? Another forum I am apart of has an admin that doesn't know. Assistance needed. RE: Invisionfree Skinning - Grim - 11-29-2007 Right, so get skins from here first: http://forums.ifskinzone.net/ http://www.iskins.info/ http://forum.cursedgfx.com/index.php?showforum=32 http://www.forumstyles.net/ And more on Google. Basically those give you one (or hopefully, both) of the skin components: the CSS and the graphics to use. Next, go to the Admin CP. Look for the "Manage Style Sheets" under the general group of "Skinning and Styles". Copypasta CSS. For graphics (if provided), go to "Images" under the same general group. See those URLs? Yes, you're going to have to provide one for each and every last graphic you want to change. If you don't want to upload them to something from outside like photobucket, you can attach the graphics to posts, one per each, and just grab them there. Don't forget to check the checkboxes, or else all that copy pasting will have gone in vain. Voila, new skin. EDIT: Oh yeah. InvisionFree doesn't support multiple skins right from the start. You'll have to find a modification for that. RE: Invisionfree Skinning - Crimson - 11-29-2007 Thanks a lot Grim. I really appreciate it. |
