As for manga, I'm reading Planetes and Vagabond. The latter title's a graphic novel series by Takehiko Inoue (the creator of Slam Dunk), and is was adapted from Eiji Yoshikawa's "Miyamoto Musahi" novel.

Try watching Blood - The Last Vampire (OAV) and Blood+ (series). You might also wanna check out Trinity Blood as well.
They all have vampires as main characters. Tamang-tama sa'yo.

Haha, yeah. I never finished Trinity Blood due to the lack of discs. I actually lost all the DVDs.
BTW, Hellsing is also an anime full of vampires, though in a modern setting.
