- ex nihilo - 06-23-2007 Rant: I felt so crappy this morning... Stupid nightmare woke me up at 6:00 a.m.... ...and it was damn creepy, too. It went like this... We went to a camp for the weekend, then the guide started telling us about how the camp owner and her daughter died inside the counsellor's cabin. The next day, after waking up, we went on a walk, only to be attacked by demon-possessed plants. As we ran to the mess hall, one of the counsellors shows up with a small bucket of weed killer, scaring off the plants. Then, he told us that we were sent to the camp to exorcise the spirits in the counsellor's cabin, now called the "S Room," out. When we reached the cabin, we saw, or rather heard, why they called it the "S Room." There was screaming in the background, while another voice was calling out, "Susan, oh, Susan...." I'd like to type the rest, but not until I can get it out of my dream memory... When I woke up, I felt like this: ![]() ![]() - Grim - 06-24-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-R.Leonhardt+June 23, 2007 10:36 pm--><div class='codebox_title'>QUOTE (R.Leonhardt @ June 23, 2007 10:36 pm)</div><div class='codebox'><div id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> Where do you get Linux anyway? did you purchase an original copy? [/quote:6a11e6d030] Most versions of Linux are free dude! That's why it's used by so many people nowadays, although still nothing compared to the number of Windows users. The one I chose was <a href='http://www.ubuntu.com' target='_blank'>Ubuntu</a> because of its famed reliability and ease of use. You can download ISOs of their files there, through torrents. Try looking <a href='http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download' target='_blank'>here</a>. Admittedly, installation wasn't so pain-free, since I did erase my entire hard drive... but at least now I'm posting this from a virus and worry-free computer. Haha. I'll post some screenies of my new desktop when I snazz it up a bit. There are many more versions of Linux BTW, each one tuned for different purposes. PM me if you want to find out more. - NiX - 06-24-2007 LoL you sound like an ad, man. ![]() - HayWire - 06-24-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-ex nihilo+June 23, 2007 11:56 pm--><div class='codebox_title'>QUOTE (ex nihilo @ June 23, 2007 11:56 pm)</div><div class='codebox'><div id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Rant: I felt so crappy this morning...
