RE: StarCraft - NiX - 10-07-2008

Hey Aiken, just install Garena and make sure your SC is at version 1.15.3 and you should be good to go.

RE: StarCraft - RoninFang - 10-07-2008

Garena is a software? and how can i check the version of the SC if i am going to buy the cd i mean

RE: StarCraft - Shintetsu - 10-07-2008

I dunno, but there are some links in here, you can just download and update.

Garena is easy to install.

Replay pack from a 2007 tourney. Some of the best in the world (at the time. SC trends change quickly) played:

http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~edfu/starcraft/BWWI2007%20Reps.zip

They were running on version 1.14 so some of these replays might not work 100% with 1.15. To remedy this, just use the old 1.14 exe file. http://repasm.free.fr/rx/files/Starcraft-old-exe.zip

RE: StarCraft - Lord_Leperman - 11-22-2008

While I don't play Starcraft (competitively or otherwise), I find myself being able to relate with my experiences with Virtual-On and Armored Core with that article. If I had to pinpoint my grand daddy of Armored Core playing it would have to be with Imori, in the same way that there is a little bit of Boxer in Terran players.

RE: StarCraft - Grim - 11-22-2008

I still haven't played Starcraft in the past few months but that article was good.

RE: StarCraft - NiX - 11-23-2008

There's a little bit of Boxer in every SC player, not just the Terrans. =P Try looking up Boxer vids on youtube. The things he thought of were insane.

As much as I love Imori, I don't think he's done for AC anything even remotely close to what Boxer did for SC. Heck, I don't think any gamer of any game has done what Boxer has. His is just pure love and passion for the game he plays.

You guys should check out Boxer's biography if you're still interested: http://boxerbiography.blogspot.com/
