This year we had our enlistment of classes online, so that meant no more lining up for us to sign up for the classes we want to take. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to plan it out all that well... I heard only one server was used to handle all the incoming connections of an entire batch numbering in the 1,500+ mark... which only really meant that all anybody got all day was an "Error Loading Page" message. I consider myself lucky, I got a pretty stable connection, so I got a schedule pretty close to what I wanted. But what about the ones who didn't have a stable connection? Or even a connection at home (dormers)? They're at an immediate disadvantage, which destroys the supposed "fairness" of the system. Plus, they'd be at the mercy of the computer shops, which charge per hour, making the whole thing pretty expensive.
The intentions were great, but the implementation was wack.

I've been having this thoughts about trying out for UE's Fencing team again this year...
Back then duting my firct year in college, I already tried out but never finished it because of my schedule...
Now that my schedule's as loose as a 50 years old sock, I'm thinking of trying again, but with my studies...

Rant #1 - Getting the requirements for the job is a real killer. NBI in Carriedo, SSS in Buendia and East Ave, TIN in Makati... I just about walked my feet off last Friday.
And i still have several other papers to pass tomorrow!
Rant #2 - These kids in the shop playing Ran are totally getting on my nerves. It seems that this place caters to the most manner-less, uncouth, disrespectful and screwed-up ten-to-fifteen year-olds in FB. If ever i really wanted to run amuck anywhere, i'd probably start here.
