Just a thought:

Maybe someone can take photos of those AC models, then touch them up a little bit using photoshop... and then we can have original AC pix in original poses to be used for banners and wallpapers. Heheh. The detail of those ACs are good enough to begin with... proper photography is all that's really needed.

Good idea. I think we should let Fox take care of that (or any other members who have the models, like Lord_Leperman or jonevangelist, pero marami nang ginagawa si jonevangelist para satin eh XD) take care of that, if they want.

BTW, just to let everyone know, Fox has accepted the job offer of Official RR AC photographer. So most probably, siya ang kukuha ng pictures, hahaha Smile)

Dude, don't be that way. I've seen your pics and they're very good naman eh. My models aren't that good and your's aren't that bad, although i have to say that Jonevangelist's work does surpass anything i can hope to achieve. -_-

Try grabbing one of the AC models and painting it. The parts are just so detailed and intricate that the model actually paints itself. It looks so good that even an idiot like me managed to make it look decent, meaning i'm sure that whatever way you paint, it'll turn out awesome. Wink

Trust me on that one.

if you're using spray paint, try to find Krylon FUSION paint. it bonds with plastic. I dont know what to do for smaller places where you cant spray it and have to use a brush though.

- Doom Trigger - 12-01-2006

So strawhat_luffy can you point where to find this specific paint. TY in advance..

- strawhat_luffy - 12-03-2006

you can find it at most hardware places, and walmart. I'm sure some websites have it.
heres the website for it but unfortunetly the site doesnt sell it...

- Fox - 12-03-2006

Too bad we don't have any Walmart branches here. Big grin

I've seen some cans of Krylon in Ace Hardware shops but i don't know if the hjave the Fusion stuff. All i know is that i've been using Pylox ever since i started painting kits and they're ok with me.

Question though: how much is a can of said aerosols in the States?

- strawhat_luffy - 12-04-2006

I've seen it a few times, and that was at ACE hardware and Walmart where it was seven dollars for a 12 ounce can. but I found a site that sells it for 5.69. You just gotta find a place that sells it because I havent seen that many. I was just planning on buying some to paint my Guitar Hero 2 guitars Tongue. It's good thing that you dont have to sand the plastic.

Can anybody tell me where to buy .5 markers(cdr king's .5 markers just run out)? I've tried NBS, without luck. BTW I need gunmetal, silver and red .5 markers..

Cody's Coop is still up? Haven't visited that site for a couple of years now.

Dudes, you gotta check out the way he painted a 1/100 Deathscythe Hell and the 1/72 Hasegawa VF-1S (if the pics are still there), those two totally threw me for a loop the first time i saw them.
