The article in itself doesn't really interest me that much per se. I just want to show how politicians in other countries readily accept their shame when linked to a scandal. Dito sa atin, pakapalan talaga kahit gaano na ka-obvious eh. -_-

The school would be required to reward the student with a good grade, or be considered in violation of the law. Even simple, factual information such as the age of the earth (4.65 billion years) would be subject to the student's belief, and if the student answered 6,000 years based on his or her religious belief, the school would have to credit it as correct. Science education becomes absurd under such a situation.

As reported by news.com.au, it was the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) and porn lobby group the Eros Foundation which, well, found themselves in bed together on the video game issue.

The noteworthy hook-up came in the wake of a decision by Australia’s attorneys general to seek public comment as to whether an R18+ rating should be added for video games. Under present law, any game which exceeds MA15+ is effectively banned. Titles which have been blocked under the current system include Grand Theft Auto III, Blitz: The League and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude.
