EM? << wild guess...com? No, I took PolEco but most of my friends (in my batch) were from Com. I have extreme dislike for the PolEco program in UA&P, but not the people, professors included. Hm. RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - Aruren - 09-10-2009 Korea is going to try to trump the 1/1 scale Gundam by building a tower in the shape of Robot Taekwon V (Which many would recognize as a rip-off of Mazinger Z). It's also going to be built inside a theme park in progress, "Robot Land." http://www.robotland.or.kr/ RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - J.E_Magog - 09-10-2009 (09-10-2009, 08:01 AM)Aruren Wrote: Taekwon V AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Tinabi pa sa paa yung Tetsujin hahahahah Like theres any chance for a 1/1 AC getting built..... RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - Fox - 09-10-2009 Korea's penchant for one-upping Japan's stuff never ceases to amaze me. RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - clonezero - 09-10-2009 so their planning to brag about a poor copy??? If they wanted to work hard on something wont it be much better to brag about something a little more original or at least innovative ~_~ they should stick to video games XD "Noynoy is Bad News for the Church" - Twin-Skies - 09-17-2009 For RH stand, Noynoy is bad news for Church http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/inquirerheadlines/nation/view/20090917-225626/For-RH-stand-Noynoy-is-bad-news-for-Church Quote:MANILA, Philippines—While the Catholic Church was all out in its support for the late President Corazon Aquino in the 1986 snap elections, some clerics say they may not do the same for Cory’s son, Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, in the 2010 presidential contest, because of his support for the controversial reproductive health bill. The stupid. It burns RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - NiX - 09-17-2009 While I'm not exactly for Noynoy either since he only seems to be riding the reinvigorated popularity of his late parents, I've never liked the Church's stand on the RH bill. Oh, and that Msgr. Santos used to be our parish priest here in St. James. Obviously intelligent and outspoken guy, but I still don't agree with him here. That's the problem with this country. You can't really side with anybody. No one is ever really in the right. RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - Twin-Skies - 09-18-2009 At the very least, Noynoy's reply to the Church was well-executed. I just hope the lay Catholics can move past the clergy's general idiocy and make informed decisions on their own. Quote:Philippine Catholic Church, you really fail today. Mary was an unwed 14-year old girl when she carried Jesus. Does this mean that if she were alive today, she could be expelled from a Catholic school? Just a little food for thought. When a woman becomes pregnant, I imagine what they need most - especially teens - is the loving a moral support of their friends, family and associates to help carry them endure this trying ordeal. Instead, the church opts to boot them out of their institutions, and try to brand them as social outcasts. Quite frankly, I find that to be far more "Anti-life" than their vitriol of a rhetoric against the RH bill. RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - NiX - 09-18-2009 Failed government, failed organized religions. We have nothing. ![]() RE: Teh interesting news stub thread - Goat - 09-18-2009 Oh God if there is a God take a look at what's happening to your people ! |
