RE: Project Awesome - Grim - 06-16-2010 Twitter's Fail Whale, rendered using pure CSS. No images or anything here. http://www.subcide.com/experiments/fail-whale/ [/geek] RE: Project Awesome - Shintetsu - 06-17-2010 That's quite a feat. It's pretty hard to replicate manually, so it's awesome! RE: Project Awesome - Twin-Skies - 06-17-2010 http://youarenotsosmart.com/ I love this site. It takes common sense facts, and explains why they're wrong Quote:The Misconception: Makeup serves no deeper purpose than to enhance culturally-defined concepts of beauty. RE: Project Awesome - clonezero - 06-17-2010 I like the one about Hindsight Bias and the Just-World Fallacy. Too bad the guy cheated as he loaded it up with metal BBs. Still, i'd pay good money to have that in my arsenal. RE: Project Awesome - clonezero - 06-21-2010 ditto RE: Project Awesome - azuriel07 - 06-22-2010 I wanna see that thing against zombies. Slowly tearing the zombie apart... mmmm~ RE: Project Awesome - NiX - 06-22-2010 Oh wow you can literally mow a crowd with that. The TV even caught fire. RE: Project Awesome - Hempire - 06-22-2010 hmmmmmmm RE: Project Awesome - Grim - 06-23-2010 This is so cool: modern day gadgets reimagined as 1970s creations. http://www.behance.net/Gallery/ALT1977-WE-ARE-NOT-TIME-TRAVELERS/545221 I would totally wear those headphones. RE: Project Awesome - Sforza - 06-23-2010 That got me wondering if it's possible to make a "Pocket Hi Fi" mod out of a nano. Would like it to look more steampunk instead of retro though~ Music geek in me instantly thought about the cost of LP to digital transcribing, which would be about 30k for the two machines (record player and signal converter). They look like a slightly more retro version of my Zumreed orange/white border phones crossed with Grados for the headband RE: Project Awesome - Sforza - 06-26-2010 Great display of Krav Maga in some movie called Blade 2, which stars Raven from Tekken RE: Project Awesome - Twin-Skies - 06-27-2010 RE: Project Awesome - Hempire - 06-28-2010 herbal !!!~ RE: Project Awesome - Twin-Skies - 06-29-2010 |
