RE: Armored Core figures/model kits - Fox - 03-24-2010 I'll probably consider getting this, if only for the KRSW, the JAG2 legs and the URANUS. The head reminds me of a stealth bomber. RE: Armored Core figures/model kits - J.E_Magog - 04-15-2010 ---------------------------------------------------------------- I just noticed something. I'm not accusing anyone of stealing/ plagiarizing, but this raises a few questions. In 2007, there was this modeler called Zerogata who scratchbuilt a ROC4 and Elf2, made copies of it and most likely sold it at WonderFest. A year later we see a fascinator model equipped with those weapons in Brave New World. The AC was built by Chita Warakashi, who models most of the ACs in Dengeki magazine. same guy I got mad at http://hobby.dengeki.com/ac/story00.html And now we find these weapons in Kotobukiya's BNW kits. So, is Zerogata = Mr. Warakashi? Or is he a Kotobukiya/Dengeki employee? It's quite obvious where those weapons came from. RE: Armored Core figures/model kits - NiX - 04-15-2010 We'll kick his ass for you when we all move to Japan. RE: Armored Core figures/model kits - Fox - 04-15-2010 Either he was or is an employee or just an independent modeller who sold the rights for his designs to Koto. If ever i move to Japan, i'll hunt down these guys for sure... so that i can ask them to make me some custom parts! RE: Armored Core figures/model kits - Zefyr - 04-16-2010 Custom parts would be nice. Maybe Kotobukiya could make one gigantic kit that consists of all the parts in sets I.E. One set = all lightweight frame parts, another set = all medium-weight frame parts etc. etc. Of course that might cost A LOT. Alternatively, they could make a service that creates custom parts on demand when ordered... or something...?
