Christmas was pretty uneventful for me. I got a shirt, some biscuits and a wallet (without cash in it :p )
...then my PS2 of 4 years suddenly gave up on me on the afternoon of the 25th.... Its graphics chip went haywire.
The next day, I had someone take a look at it and the was able to fix the graphics problem, but the lens broke during the repairs.
I had to pay 1k for a still broken PS2....
Still waiting for my bad luck streak to go away. <:3

Well, you know what they say, things usually get worse before they get better. In your case, i think the "worse" part has already passed.
Rant - weather up here keeps alternating between sweltering-hot during mornings and mid-day to bone-chilling in the early evenings until early morning.
Rant #2 - my weight is still steadily increasing, i'm now at 71 kgs. And New Year's not even here yet. T_T

The technician that borked my PS2 said that the lens gave out while he was realigning the graphics chips of my PS2's main board... I knew it was impossible for my PS2s lens to "just break" during a routine test. I tested it out last night on some Music CDs and some PS1 games... They worked just fine.
Durn it. I think that tech was planning to pull a fast one on me... :C

At least my Black box is still able to play PS1 games. ^__^

Maybe you accidentally moved the physical wi-fi switch of your laptop off?
Rant: Learning to cook on your own can be bad. I learned how to clone a Big Mac and ate it for 2 straight days. Now I'm feeling bloated. Incidentally, I now know first hand what kind of stuff goes into a Big Mac, and it ain't healthy.
