but they allready did first a chainsaw then a mechanical hand thing

- otakuwarren - 07-27-2007

oh ya..

I'll bet on him (ED4 protagonist) having a chainsaw.. on both hands.. jk, just the cut arm.

I'll take a wild guess.. the protagonist will be Ash's son, thus making them able to star a different protagonist.

how even with ash's help would the the medievil guys be able to makle that hand thing I mean he used it (moved all the fingers and stuff) like he was just wearing a glove (I know thats what he was doing its just a movie duh)

maybe it will be the bad ending when he's in the future and he will get some hi'tech cyborg hand if humanity is still around and didnt regress technologically.

- otakuwarren - 07-28-2007

Yeah! that would be great seriously.. how the twist ended up more inclined in action in part 3 compared to the prequel which are more of a thriller, that is a possibility.

The chain of fade black scenes of making the metal hand seems convincing. He referred to a book, he had the resources, the blacksmith's help..

I remembered something funny again, in the hail to the king ending, after he shot dead the deadite, when the chick clung to him, his metal hand bent somehow.. lol

- Roh - 07-28-2007

yeah strange how metal can be elastic like that

and how come it didnt rust he was there a few hundred years right?

- otakuwarren - 07-29-2007

Again, I remembered something really funny..

When he slept for many years in apocalypse ending, you can see he has grown a really long beard and he shouldve aged right? But whats this!? No wrinkles, and Bruce Campbell's face is so smooth, its funny. The camera even closed up at his face.

Again, its a classic movie that I really love (my first movie love). Its the story and the protagonist that counts. Hail ze old Ash..

if he grew a beard in the apocalypse ending why not the wall mart ending? it wasnt as many hundreds of years but it was hundreds of years

- otakuwarren - 07-29-2007

Im seeing two concepts they're trying to imply to the audience..

1. Ash travelled through many years of time but to his body, its only a few months, years.. with a ratio, like, 1:100 years

2. Ash aged, like he's around 60 yrs old by the apocalypse ending, you can here his raspy/old voice to denote that.. with a ratio, like, 1:40 years

The Hail to the King ending might be the #1, Apocalypse, the #2.

..or is it another flaw of the classics.

Another funny thing, in the Apocalypse ending, there's a rubble all over the place, the apocalypse came.. but whats this?! The cave where Ash slept for so long isn't even affected. The travelling time potion might have came with a bonus of 'Protective Barrier', the merlin is a nice guy.
