Madaya!</span> - wanzerfreak - 01-19-2007 a really pointless suggestion. - Zigg - 01-19-2007 LOLZ - Serene - 01-19-2007 Just tried TP+Lotus0100+Linden 0010 Combo... Works much better than before at maintaining the heat... Though it's slightly heavier than my usual combo, it actually works great on this design... Well... I'm sure everybody's wondering why 2 Wraiths on the hangers and LB3's exposed? LB3's a scare weapon... Let's see them come up at you at melee range... Then strip and show 'em cute Wraiths when their AP's lower than 15%... Much better than chasing with blades and winning by time-out... I don't like that happening to me... So there. The F2D2 FCS is there under my preference... I'm having no problems with the lock-on due to Nionizel's -ahem- TP based speed... So yeah... It's overweight, but managable... Sticking with the TP/V2+Lotus+Linden Combo on this design... Everyone, thanks for the suggestions. - Serene - 01-23-2007 Double post... Ehehe... Looks like Nionizel's making a little fuss at ACO... Quote:A really strange (and original) core. Quote: The frame and weapons are good but the BGR and FCS needs work so try TP/G91/Ananda for the BGR and F73H for an FCS. Quote: Monju on the FCS, better range than the F-73H if im not mistaken, and a comparible box. Quote: Just by looking at it I think I can make a few pretty good suggestions. Quote: No you're right auto, weight does surprisingly more on TP than power (probably because it's high enough lol) Quote: Let me see... Quote:Not to be rude but what do you mean exactly? Do you mean that since the other AC has it you don't want to use it for originality. Quote: I never said to get rid of the Wraith, just swap the positions of LB3 and Wraith. It's more advantageous, trust me. Quote: Well... But still... Anyways... I'm thinking of having a second variant for Nionizel... Legs to Jaguar... RL to Silky... LB3 to Moonlight... Again... BGR combo: V2 + Kongoh 163 + ???... I'm going to use my old moves for this one... I'm supposed to try this out earlier, but the PS2 at the place I play at needs cleaning... Mind if anyone else try this one for me? - wanzerfreak - 01-23-2007 lotus+ananda+gull+ec on a low-drain frame. - Iguana - 01-24-2007 SILKY FTL! Don't use SILKY, it doesn't perform well enough to make it's weight and drain worth equipping. You're better-off using the SHADE, SHADE2, or HOLLOW. Really, SILKY just doesn't have the power, range, and accuracy you need to win a competitive match with. Also, the amount of energy it drains just to fire is huge, so you'd need the PHAGE optional part to use extended bursts without busting your generator a hundred times over. PHAGE also takes 4 optional slots, mind you. Those slots could be better used for AMINO, O69ES, O69SS, KISSYOH, O7SLA, L+, CODON, PRIMER, R+, and MARISHI. Not to say it's not possible, but even if you DID find a way to incorporate the SILKY effectively into a design, the sheer lack of any solid performance from the thing just won't be strong enough to move an AC out of the 'for-fun' category. It's like using the PYTHON, it just doesn't work-out in the end. - Blessed - 01-24-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-Iguana+Jan 23 2007, 11:21 AM--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Iguana @ Jan 23 2007, 11:21 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->SILKY FTL! Silky FTW baby!! - Iguana - 01-24-2007 Would Asmodeus happen to be that OB design that you used against EJ? I recall seeing a video of it, and the SILKY didn't do the design any justice. Not enough damage output for the demand of weight and energy it requires. SILKY only works as a complimentary weapon anyways, so there's no way you could effectively center an AC around it. I mean, it's like making a design around a DRAGON instead of a KARASAW, it just doesn't pay-off. I'll be playing AC:LR via Kai later-on today (the rust is gradually being polished off), so let's see how Asmodeus will do despite the massive input delay. [P.S.] I've been winning the majority of my matches on Kai. Seems everyone is coming back to it for whatever reason, and there are a few newcomers to AC:LR on Kai as well, so I think it's a good sign. - Blessed - 01-24-2007 Lol nah. I never ran a silky design against EJ, and if I did I'd be crazy as hell to do it(It's like trying to pop Dacapn with GLL, its not happenin'). I'll catch ya on kai later if your on kinfolk, hopefully I can change your mind about Silky, even though its low tier as hell. - Serene - 01-25-2007 Hmm... I may still try the Silky idea... I have a maneuver I can use for it... A classic actually... I won't tell for now what it is... Question: How much is Silky's Usage Drain? I may not use it and switch with other energy weapons if it feels like it won't work... Is Gull + Fudoh + R92 ok for Variation2's BGR Combo? - Ethermaster - 01-25-2007 Silky's stats: WH10M-SILKY Manufacturer ------- Mirage Price -------------- 61000c Type --------------- EN Machinegun Weight ------------- 598 Energy Drain ------- 446 Ammo Type ---------- Energy -Weapon Lock ------- WS -Attack Power ------ 168 -Ammo -------------- 180 -Attack Heat ------- 1303 -Range ------------- 290 -Maximum Lock ------ 1 -Firing Interval --- 10 -Ammo Price -------- --- -Usage Drain ------- 1849 Courtesy of Gamefaqs and Vesperas.. - Grim - 01-25-2007 <!--QuoteBegin-Ethermaster+Jan 25 2007, 10:43 AM--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Ethermaster @ Jan 25 2007, 10:43 AM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> -Usage Drain ------- 1849 [/quote:17aa6bdbef] There you go, the stat that truly destroys the Silky's concept of being a 'machine gun.' Serene, Gull + Fudoh + R92 sounds very useable, but it's a bit on the heavy side. Not sure if you'll want that here. - wanzerfreak - 01-25-2007 gull+fudoh+ananda. anything beyond that is silly. you will only ever need the r92 if your using a hot gen like the kongoh or magnolia. - Serene - 01-25-2007 I just tested the AC this 7pm at Haybol... I came up with a second variation... Sting, XS,Cronos , Medusa, Satyros, Gar and LB3 stays... [L] Jaguar [RA]Shade [RLH] Peryton x2 [B] Vulture2 [G] Kongoh 163 [R] R92 Back to the old BGR setup... Actually, it's the only setup useable in the variant... I abandoned the Silky2 idea... You got to have H+ to use that damn thing!! Also tried the Gull Fudoh R92 combo... Too heavy. |
